An eating disorder is an obsession with food and weight
that harms a person's health and well-being. Some warning signs
of an eating disorder may be an unnatural concern about body weight,
obsession with calories and grams of fat in food, lying about how
much you eat, starving yourself, forcing yourself to vomit after
eating or taking medicines to lose weight.

Another name for "binge eating" is
"compulsive overeating". People with this problem eat
unusually large amounts of food and don't stop when they become
full. This happens more than just once in awhile, it happens regularly.
Often, the person feels out-of-control and unable to stop while
doing it.
